After 2 year investigation, a Bellmawr, NJ. man was charged with sexually assaulting a 7 yr old girl when her Brigantine mom wasn’t home.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says 30-year-old James Ward, the fiancé of the victim’s mother, molested the girl while watching her.
Ward is being held in Atlantic County jail on $350,000 full cash bail. He could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Ward is charged with:
- first-degree aggravated sexual assault
- second-degree sexual assault
- second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
