Brigantine Polar Bear Plunge
Brigantine Red Cup Plunge

The annual Brigantine Polar Bear  Plunge is an icy plunge into the 14th street ocean at noon, Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017.

It’s a fundraiser for the Fisher House Foundation, a charity that’s devoted to helping families of wounded service members in need.

Last year an estimated 1,000 people took the plunge. Money is raised through local and corporate sponsorships, donations and merchandise sales. The fun starts at 10 a.m.

Pic-a-Lilli Pub of Atlantic City will be serving food the day of the plunge. The Billy Walton Band will provide live music.
