Brigantine Woman Arrested for Threatening to Kill Pa. Police Officer


Kerry Asbury, 45, of Brigantine was arrested on Thursday, March 22,  by Watsontown, Pa. Police on charges of terroristic threats, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Watsontown police say a Brigantine NJ woman threatened to kill an officer.

According to DailyItem.com : Police were called to a restaurant after receiving complaints about an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. When confronted, Brigantine’s Asbury was allegedly uncooperative with police, refused their commands, tried to walk away several times and yelled obscenities.

Asbury claimed she couldn’t be arrested because she was in law enforcement. Police did find a badge and ID indicating Asbury was a Department of Banking and Insurance Investigator in New Jersey.
