Links at Brigantine Golf Says Goodbye to General Manager Robbins

Big change at The Links At Brigantine Golf. Popular, and well-liked general manager; Nathan Robbins is saying goodbye. The shake-up was not a surprise, as the County is taking on a greater role at this struggling bay-side golf course.

Excerpts from a Nathan Robbins letter to the editor:

Almost 4 years ago, I arrived here in Brigantine with a chance to lead the operations of the wonderful golf course in this fantastic community. I must say, it’s been quite a ride.

July 22 will be my last day as general manager at the Brigantine Golf Links. I’m looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I will move back to my home in Massachusetts to be with my family on a more regular basis.

I’ll miss going to the club each day. Watching the sunrise over the east end, and the phenomenal sunsets over the bay… it was pretty magical at times.

Without question, what I’ll miss the most will be the people. This is such a great community.

My sincere thanks to golf course superintendent; Tom Dale. The hardest working guy I’ve ever known. Tom was a pleasure to work with. I knew I could always count on him to get the job done.

I’m confident The Links will continue to move in a positive direction because the support of the city has shown and will continue to show the future.

It’s been a great ride. I plan to get back down to ‘the rock’ sometime in the future to come and play this gem of a course on the Jersey shore. I wish you all well.

Nathan Robbins, General Manager.
