Could the Links at Brigantine Golf Course eventually be run by the ACIA; Atlantic County Improvement Authority? City Manager Stinson has been given the OK to start negotiations for potentially entering into a shared services agreement with the ACIA. The deal would cover management & maintenance….not food & beverage. An independent authority created by state statute, the ACIA already handles the Green Tree Golf Course in Hamilton Twp. Employees would be ACIA.
There is a Brigantine Business District streetscape project meeting on November 23, at 10a at City Hall. The landscape engineer will present design & conceptual plans. The public is invited to attend.
City Manager Stinson addressed scope of road work on Harbor Beach Cove
- ‘Repair is included, absolutely, in 2014 paving project contract, that council has awarded’.
- Contractor has ordered material for Harbor Beach Cove, to be delivered by mid December
- They will complete project project asap…..but project is weather dependent
- Site repair is part of contract, and it has been awarded according to the City Manager.
