BH Media Group and Catamaran Media Company LLC today announced that it will acquire Atlantic City Weekly and its associated website from Review Publishing Limited.
Atlantic City Weekly (“AC Weekly”) is a free distribution weekly.
Mark Blum, currently the publisher of The Press of Atlantic City and of the Catamaran publications will oversee the operation of AC Weekly. Blum was controller for the Press of Atlantic City from 1989 to 1993 and took the role of the publisher of the The Press of Atlantic City in August of 2013 and of Catamaran with its acquisition in October of 2014.
BH Media Group, headquartered in Omaha, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Company. BH Media Group now owns 30 daily newspapers and related weekly newspapers in Nebraska, Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida and New Jersey.
