Lots of small bluefish in the local surf and back bays. Reason: their chowing down on mullet and bunker that are emerging from the backwaters.
Bigger snappers are starting to be caught, weighing between 2 and 5 pounds. One-Stop Bait and Tackle said snapper blues are everywhere around Absecon Inlet and Atlantic City.
