Coast Guard Auxiliary Offers Boat Safety Classes in Brigantine

Coast Guard Auxiliary teaches boating safety in Brigantine.

All operators of powered vessels and personal watercraft on N.J. waters, regardless of age, are required to possess a boat safety certificate. Brigantine Flotilla 85 of the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is once again conducting boat safety classes this year.

  • Saturday, June 14
  • Saturday, July 12
  • Saturday, Aug. 9

All classes start at 8:30 a.m. and will be held at the Brigantine Beach Community Center, 265 42nd St.

Each class lasts eight hours, and lunch will be provided. Upon passing the test at the end of class, a certificate will be issued.

A $60 prepaid registration is required. Class size is limited, so early registration is advised. Register by leaving a message at 609-926-7607 or email boatsafely@comcast.net.
