Bob’s Marine in Brigantine is Expanding

74284_499949333371515_1091767474_nBrigantine business is gaining momentum. The expansion of Bob’s Marine is proof of that. Smart entrepreneurs on our island don’t wait around for miracles. They don’t join bloated committees or groups. They just get off their butts….make prudent investments….and get to work.

The owners of Bob’s Marine are part of a growing ‘can do’ attitude here in Brigantine. While many are still hunkering down and playing it safe, Bob is expanding. They just purchased the property next door to their operation at 486 West Shore Drive. They’re adding over 9,000 sq ft of boat storage. They’re also re-building their docks to add 26 new boat slips for the 2014 season. Nice.

Looking for a place to store your boat this winter? Need a slip for next summer? Stop by or call Bob’s Marine. They’re a family owned, full service marina with factory trained mechanics on duty. Bob’s is a factory authorized service center for Yamaha, Mercury MerCruiser, Evinrude, Johnson, Volvo-Penta and Sundance Boats. They also sell both new and used boats.

  1. I am delighted to hear this. Maybe Bob will stop parking illegally the boats he’s working on, on the street at West Shore Drive. The street has signs that say ‘No Trailer Parking’, but every year Bob conducts his business on the street. Why do the Police not enforce the parking prohibition rules? Just curious. We do need Marinas, and wish Bob the best of luck with his expansion.

  2. I’m glad to see that Bob is expanding his bussiness but hate to see a house go down in place of a bussiness expansion on a street that should be for homes and not bussinesses. I hope he makes room for some boats and trailers on that new property for I agree with Eileen that this boat and trailer parking could really get out of hand.
