Brigantine Fishing
Fishfinder Fun !

‘The bay is loaded’, says Capt. Joe Fumo of the Fish Finder party boat in Brigantine. Schools of bait are everywhere along with piles of spearing. Snapping blues are now turning into cocktail blues. Schools of butter-fish are feeding on schools of silver dollar jelly fish. Mullet are starting to run around the meadows.

Fish Finder is still catching a lots of flounder too, along with blues, sea bass, and some weak fish.

The progressive fluke jackpot is over $1,800 for a 2.22-pound flattie.

Tuesday, Sept. 2, starts the boat’s six-hour trips, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. They will be out on the reef sites catching flounder, sea bass, trigger fish, porgy, and blues.
