Mayor Phil Guenther of Brigantine won rave reviews for his Nancy Pelosi impression on Wed night, Feb 1…at the recent City Council meeting.
Remember that famously stupid Obamacare statement from Democratic Leader Ms Nancy Pelosi? we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.
Watch this video…and see how Phil & Simp borrow this classic line from Ms Pelosi.
Classic Phil. Smooth, but really dumb. It sounds smart when he first says it….but a few moments later…after you chew on it a bit….you realize Phil has baffled you with his well-tuned bullsh*t. Just like Nancy Pelosi did in 2010.
Did you know Phil’s day job is Superintendent of ACIT? Yup. Sadly tho, spending all day inside an institution of higher learning has not benefited this aging RINO in any way, shape or form. ( RINO = Republican in Name Only )
Councilman Andy ‘Simp’ Simpson reminded Council meeting onlookers why he sports Brigantine’s lowest IQ of all time. Runner up – Former Chief of Police, Tim Reed.
Simp actually said this on FEB 1 about voting on a new public safety contract: “2 minutes before ….or 2 minutes after” They can see it the next day…what’s the difference? This guy is a complete tool.
Newbie councilmen Haney and Reirdan were accused of being brainwashed. They were offended by that harsh but accurate accusation. What a bunch of special snowflakes. Reirdan & Haney narrowly won their seats. That’s due to all the past baggage these guys carry. But hey, they won and often a real treat to watch. These guys are barely qualified to manage a lemonade stand, let alone a seashore municipality.
Phil, you just described a completely ridiculous statement
Condescending. Guenther is the master of that disgusting trait. Especially when he can do it in public. Phil feels good about himself when he can publicly browbeat a respected senior citizen…that dares to ask a few simple questions. Good for you, Phil. Big man that you are.
‘We believe in transparency’ boasted Guenther, who has occupied and abused the Mayor’s seat for the past 26 years.
……Guenther, better known as ‘Philthy Phil’ & crew are hiding and mis-stating law. in regards to the latest public safety contract.
Guenther took the low road with members of the senior community. Feeling cornered by polite yet pointed questions….the Mayor shot back: funny how you bring this up during a year when we lowered taxes. Of course, local Brigantine residents are well aware that team Guenther was the man behind the overtaxing of Brigantine homeowners for the past 3 years. This financial atrocity lead to a 5 million dollar surplus by the end of 2016, something that is frowned upon by the State of NJ. Note: Councilman Simpson made sure tax refunds were NOT dispersed. Getting surplus down to about $2.5 million was recommended but declined by Brigantine Republicans.
When in doubt, when cornered by facts, or when his stuttering gets too intense…..Guenther falls back and punts to Fred Scerni, our highly qualified City Solicitor. At times tho…it seems that Mr. Scerni is not too fond of constantly bailing out Guenther and Simpson. But hey, Fred’s a pro. He hangs in there, because he’s paid to do just that. But we have to admit, it’s quite compelling…and sometime downright amazing… to watch Scerni perform verbal gymnastics to stay true to the law….while covering the verbal flim-flam that often emanates from Guenther / Simpson. Scerni deserves double pay for how often he saves Guenther & Simpson’s sorry asses. Bravo Fred.
Fred Scerni works for the esteemed law firm of Parker McCay. Philip Norcross is the Chief Executive Officer of Parker McCay.
In addition to Brigantine, Fred is also solicitor for the City of Pleasantville, City of Estell Manor, and is a redevelopment attorney for the City of Egg Harbor. Fred also serves as general counsel to the Stockton Aviation Research and Technology Park Corporation.
Another classless performance by Phi Guenther. You talk over Ann Phillips because you don’t have the aptitude to engage in a reasoned discussion. How ridiculous that you go on to say that you will accept the recommendation of labor council without allowing the public to view the contract and ask questions before a council vote? How moronic! Did you forget you were elected to represent the citizens of Brigantine! Delucry is right! We need to drain the swamp. Vote out Guenther and his thugs. Make Brigantine great again. It will take a lot of work to undo the damage, but it can be done!
