Brigantine Farmers Market Looks to Increase Vendor Fees

Rate hike for Brigantine Farmers Market foot-draggers? That should get most to pay early.

But, will Brigantine City Council OK a request to increase the rate that tardy vendors pay for a spot during the market’s 15 week season?

In addition to extending summertime market schedule by a half hour (8a-noon), market management wants to tack on an additional fee to any vendor that’s slow to register & pay.

The vendor booth rate for the 2018 Brigantine Farmers Market is still $300 for the 15-week summer duration.

Register and pay after Jan. 31, it could increase to $350.

It could be $400 bucks for any vendor who pays after Feb. 28.
