8:30 – 9:00 PHOTO CONTEST. Green Team Tent A Sports Photo taken in Brigantine during 2013-2014. Submit a copy of your photo at the Green Team Tent in the Park by 9 AM. Black & White or Color. Maximum size 8 1/2 x 11. Photos will be displayed in Haneman Park and Market patrons will vote for their favorite. Voting is from 9-10:30AM. At 10:45 a.m., gather around the Green Team tent where the Winner will be announced & awarded their prize. Please put your name and contact # on the back of your photo. Maximum photo entry of one per family & a maximum of 50 entrants. Please remember this contest is for AMATEURS ONLY!
8:30a- 9:30a ENTERTAINMENT AT THE GAZEBO The Brigantine Folk Song Society started by Bob Galbraith, in March of 2013, will play in Haneman Park. This group of versatile homegrown musicians plays American Folk Music. The group meets monthly here on the island and they will start strumming for us around 8:30.
8:30-Noon PEACH PIE CONTEST To pre-register for the ‘NEW JERSEY PERFECT PEACH PIE CONTEST’ event in Brigantine, go to the White “Green Team” tent in the Park this Saturday, obtain the registration form, and return it by July 26, 2014. All ages are welcome to submit, but you must be an amateur baker. Each market will select a winner. The winner will go on to take a second version of their winning pie or cobbler to a final judging site (to be announced later) for two grand prizes: one in South/Central Jersey, the other in North/Central Jersey. Grand prizewinners will each receive a check for $300 from the NJ Peach Promotion Council. The contest will be held on AUGUST 2.
9:15a LITTLE SPROUTS CONTEST at the Community Tent Hula-hoop and Limbo for kids. Line up & practice 9:15. The contest starts at 9:30. Hula till your hoop droops. If you keep your hula-hoop spinning longest, you win. Limber up for the limbo contest and see how low you can go.

10a-11a ZUMBA IN THE PARK at the Community Tent This week the regular C.E.R. Saturday Zumba class will be from 10-11 in Haneman Park.
11a COOKING DEMONSTRATION in Haneman Park “Chef Jennifer Cimino is a native of Atlantic County. As a single mom, she worked in the casino industry for 20 years. When local economics dictated a change, she turned to her passion: Cooking. Jen is a graduate of the Atlantic County Culinary Institute and is presently the Chef at Sophie’s 5000 the Boardwalk. Her unique style is Eclectic International Comfort Food with a strong belief in using traditional methods and the freshest ingredients. Chef Jennifer will shop the market and demo her dish at the Chef Demo Tent in Haneman Park at 11 AM.
