Brigantine just snagged a N.J. Department of Transportation Bikeway and Pedestrian Safety grant. That means we’ll get some grant money, that moves us forward towards a bike and pedestrian safety plan. Brigantine will hire a consultant to look at ways to provide routes to schools, parks, businesses, beaches and to Atlantic City. Upon completion, the grant will also provide leverage to receive other safety funding.
