The Links at Brigantine Golf Course is no longer a revenue producing asset for the taxpayers of Brigantine. Instead, ‘The Links’ along with the food & beverage concession, liquor license, pro shop & catering operations is now under the control of a former city employee by the name of Mike ‘Mad Dog’ Morgan.
It’s about to get worse. The Links is about to become a non-profit org.
- This makes it more difficult to track financials.
- Morgan, Councilman Simpson, Mayor Guenther & City Mgr. Stinson will no longer have to send out bids.
- Profits will not go to lowering taxes.
- Brigantine taxpayers will still be responsible for most expenses and repair.
