On our way back and forth to Philly, it’s mandatory to stop at Angelo’s Farm Market. It’s our favorite place for seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, right there at 5600 Rte 30, in Egg Harbor. Click thru for pictures.
Be careful though. Lucie; the owner, has a secret strategy to make you buy more than you originally wanted: she feeds you delicious samples of cantelope, white peaches and other garden treats from her farm. One taste, and you’re hooked.
They don’t call New Jersey the “Garden State’ for nothing.
Try Lucie’s home-made blueberry bread and tomato pie. Amazing. Grab a few dozen ears of corn too.
