A 36 year-old man has been charged with first degree Murder in the death of his wife on Saturday in Brigantine, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Brigantine Police received a 911 call at 4:27 a.m., on Saturday Aug. 22, 2020, and responded to 17 Girard Place in Brigantine. Rachel Declementi, 30, was found deceased in the home with numerous injuries to her body. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2020.
Robert Declementi was arrested and charged with first degree Murder.
This is a cooperative investigation by the ACPO Major Crimes Unit and the Brigantine Police Department.
