Two former Brigantine condominium officials and a contractor charged with fraudulently billing the city for trash services are now facing additional charges of alleged theft from the former Spartan Harbour Condominium Association, police said.
Former Spartan Harbour property manager Walter Czyzewicz, former Spartan Harbour board president Richard DeBenedetto and Robert Musumeci, operator of the Moose’s Cans dumpster service in Brigantine, were charged Thursday with theft by deception of more than $152,000 and conspiracy for allegedly submitting fraudulent invoices to the condo association.
The three had been charged last week with theft and conspiracy to commit theft of more than $75,000 from the city.
In addition, Nancy Musumeci was charged with falsifying a record, theft of more than $75,000 and conspiracy in the alleged billing scheme. She also was charged with theft by deception of more than $152,000 from condo association.
Capt. Raymond Cox said Czyzewicz also will be charged with five counts of unsworn falsification in which the city was the alleged victim. The investigation is continuing, Cox said.
