Brigantine husband, father, resident, retired congressman and son of the late Massachusetts Senator, Patrick Kennedy is interviewed in a recent Press of Atlantic City story. Click through to see pics from his wedding to local Brigantine teacher; Amy Petitgout.
The newspaper article suggests that Mr. Kennedy’s not really following local Brigantine politics, golf course debates, budget battles and dog park stuff. But he might eventually roll up his sleeves and get into the thick of it, sometime in the future.
Kennedy is also a mental health advocate, loving husband and dad expecting a second child.
His new home in Brigantine has been under construction for quite a while. Due to storm damage and contractor recommendations, Patrick decided to knock down and replace the 100 year old structure originally on the scenic Brigantine bay front property he recently purchased.
In the summer of 2011, Kennedy married Brigantine science teacher Amy Petitgout in Hyannisport, Mass.
The Kennedy compound on Brigantine Island should be move-in ready by end of October. Good thing too. Just in time for the arrival of their second child, a baby girl, due around Thanksgiving. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Kennedy.
