Lori Herndon of Brigantine will become the new CEO and president of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Herndon will replace David Tilton, who is retiring June 30.
Ms. Herndon is married to Dr. Dorie Herndon, who runs a successful chiropractic practice in Brigantine.
AtlantiCare started in 1993 and has six major campuses and almost 90 sites. Tilton has been with AtlantiCare for 29 years.
Herndon has been an executive at AtlantiCare since 2007, and begins her role as CEO and president of the health system on July 1.
