The City of Brigantine has finally rolled out their first draft of the long awaited video series promoting our South Jersey shore town. Click below to view the beta series of their clips.
Watch the short videos and tell us your thoughts. We caught a few obvious errors (community center instead of school) and poorly picked images (ugly beach shot) that we’re sure will be fixed in version #2 of this municipal-backed series. We also were surprised to hear the announcer boast that motels were a negative feature that Brigantine doesn’t have.
Video is the most effective way of communicating the features and benefits of any product or service, especially Brigantine Beach. That’s why it’s vital to make sure the images, copy points and the actual video footage is accurate and best suited for the job at hand. Please review and leave your comments below. Looked very professional and i think only a few fixes needed for final version
I think the video is boring. It reminds me of a 70’s – 80’s training video. It really needs to be jazzed up. The mention that there are no hotels is incorrect because both Legacy & La Sammana can be booked on Expedia. So not including them on the video as hotels will be a detriment to tourism. Many tourists, especially couples, will want to know there are hotel style properties in town center as home rentals may be too big for them. How about mentioning the world class restaurants? There needs to be more shots of people having fun. How about some pictures of people catching big fish, boating, the romance aspect of the island, etc. There is too much time given to the politicians too. Brigantine has so much to offer this video does not do it justice.
