philadelphia-flyersThe Philadelphia Flyers skate into Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City for a free open practice on Nov. 9. It’s the first time in 32 years. According to the Press of Atlantic City, South Jersey Flyers fans will enjoy to see the practice, sponsored by Tropicana Casino and Resort Atlantic City.

Tickets are free, but will be limited. Information on how to reserve tickets will be released in the future. The Flyers usually practice at the Flyers SkateZone in Voorhees.

“We are very excited about having an open practice at Boardwalk Hall for the first time,” said Flyers General Manager Ron Hextall in a news release.

The last time the Flyers appeared at Boardwalk Hall was on Oct. 3, 1982 when they played an exhibition game against the New York Rangers.

Details on the practice will be released at a later date. The Flyers practice allows Boardwalk Hall to maximize its use of the ice hockey rink in a short period of time.
