The Brigantine City Beach Patrol reminds all to be safe while enjoying the beaches. This will be the last weekend that guards will be on duty for 2013.
North End beaches will be closed for swimming due to the women’s fishing tournament.
Only swim at beaches with lifeguards on duty. In case of an emergency call 911 immediately.
The following beaches will have lifeguards on duty 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22: 17th Street South and 26th Street South.
The Beach Patrol thanked all the residents and visitors this summer for “a great season,” and said it looks forward to May 24 when beaches open for 2014.
