Late Summer 2021, Brigantine Fishing Report

Real Brigantine Fishing
Keepers.

Still getting kings and spots all over the surf using blood worms. The flounder bite is continuing to be a good one in the surf using teaser rigs and salmon red gulp.

Still plenty of sharks and rays if you are looking to bend your rod in half. Use a mackerel head or a king fish head and hold on as we have seen plenty in the local waters.

The boaters are still catching a lot of flounder in the back bays but the ratios of keepers to shorts has not been the best.

If the winds ever lay down and you can make it out front there are plenty of sea bass, tog and flounder around the structures out front.

I have had a lot of people asking me about the Brigantine Night in Venice Boat Parade that will be happening August 21st and it’s going to be a ton of fun.

It’s to honor our heroes and frontline workers that keep us safe and have gotten us
through this pandemic and will continue to be there to keep us safe. If you don’t want to enter a boat you can always decorate your property on the water or
docks that they will go by.
