32 year guard vet; Kip Emig, was sworn in as Chief of the Brigantine Beach Patrol. It was an historic event on the beaches of Brigantine.

The ceremony took place at guard HQ at 16th st beach.
Kip and his family originally hail from Hatboro Pa.
His grandparents made their way to the shores of Brigantine back in the 60’s.
Chief Emig is a well respected and much liked leader of a team of 90 guards.
Kip continues the tradition set by past beach patrol leaders; Jim King, Bill Kuhn and others.
