Ernie Purdy

Some changes in Brigantine in regards to the upcoming November 2016 election.

In the fourth Ward, Ernie Purdy; the former city public works chief, has decided not to run.

The Brigantine GOP has replaced Purdy with Angelo Sciarra.

Purdy says that the demands of a new business he just opened make it difficult for him to consider running.

Angelo Sciarra is a Philadelphia native and graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School. He attended St. Joseph University.

Sciarra has been married for 40 years, has three children and four grandchildren. He moved to Brigantine permanently in 2012.
