Remembering Betsy Rogge, Wife of Former Brigantine Mayor

Betsy Rogge, wife of former Brigantine Mayor John Rogge, died Dec. 21 at age 93.  Both lived in Brigantine since 1948. Betsy Rogge was involved with the Betty Bacharach rehabilitation Center,Children’s Seashore House, the American Cancer Society and the Florence Crittenton Home, and helped establish several charitable organizations in Brigantine.

From Press of AC: Betsy Rogge was recently honored during the opening of the new Bacharach Hearing and Balance Center. The center includes the Betsy-Ann Rogge Pediatric Audiology Center, named after a longtime pediatric hearing advocate. The $250,000 investment for new equipment started with a donation from Betsy-Ann and her husband, John, a former mayor of Brigantine. Inside, a portrait of Betsy-Ann from 1943 hangs on the wall in the lobby. Read more in Press of Atlantic City
