The 80’s are back, baby. Popular Philly based rock group The A’s, are launching a reunion tour. It all kicks off at The Social, inside Revel Hotel Casino on Saturday, July 5. The performance marks The A’s first reunion show and it promises to be massive.
Formed in 1977, The A’s features Richard Bush on lead vocals, Rick DiFonzo on guitar, Rocco Notte on keyboards, Terry Bortman on bass, and Michael Snyder on drums. The band’s powerful live show and hooky but aggressive tunes quickly earned them a loyal following in Philly and beyond.
The A’s self-titled debut album was released in 1979, and it received enthusiastic reviews as well as plenty of local airplay.
In 1981, the A’s issued their second album, A Woman’s Got the Power. Tickets are $35 and $75 and go on sale April 18 at noon…..at all Ticketmaster locations, Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000.
