The Health Awareness Program of Brigantine will conduct free blood pressure screenings 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the Brigantine Community Center, 265 42nd St. Everyone is welcome, and no appointment is necessary.

The next meeting of the Brigantine Democratic Club will be 10 a.m.- noon Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Brigantine Community Center, 245 42nd Street. This is the annual Toys for Tots event. The Saint Thomas women’s club hosts a casino trip to the Tropicana Casino Tuesday, Dec. 8. There will be a 3:30 p.m. matinee called “holiday magic.” Cost is $20 and includes the show ticket and $15 for slot play. Meet in the Saint Thomas parking lot at noon.
