The Brigantine Chapter of the Red Hat Ladies will hold their annual Thanksgiving Dinner Wednesday Nov. 18 at the Brigantine Golf Links. Cocktails begin 6 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m. Cost is $25. The Health Awareness Program of Brigantine will conduct free blood pressure screenings 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the Brigantine Community Center, 265 42nd St. Everyone is welcome, and no appointment is necessary.

Atlantic County Library System/Brigantine holds a Wintry Seashell Ornament craft 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov.19. Participants make a shimmering seashell ornament to adorn their homes. Materials are provided. The free program is open to adults, and registration is required. Call 609-266-0110.

The next meeting of the Brigantine Democratic Club will be 10 a.m.- noon Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Brigantine Community Center, 245 42nd Street. This is the annual Toys for Tots event. Children’s toys and donations will be collected. Checks can be made out to Toys for Tots in any dollar amount.. Coffee and holidays cookies will be being served.

The Saint Thomas women’s club hosts a casino trip to the Tropicana Casino Tuesday, Dec. 8. There will be a 3:30 p.m. matinee called “holiday magic.” Cost is $20 and includes the show ticket and $15 for slot play. Meet in the Saint Thomas parking lot at noon. A Deck the Halls Gingerbread House program will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10 at the Brigantine branch of the Atlantic County Library. Participants will build a sweet home with seasonal delectables and garnish it with goodies. Materials are provided. The program is open to adults, and registration is required.
