From Press of Atlantic City: United Airlines Flight 4161 was showered with a celebratory spray of water from two fire trucks after it touched down Tuesday morning (4/1) at Atlantic City International Airport carrying the first passengers from Chicago.
The 19 passengers were welcomed by a host of VIPs and some Atlantic City-themed hoopla as soon as they stepped off the 50-seat jet shortly after 11 a.m. Balloons, beach umbrellas, salt water taffy and even one of the Boardwalk’s iconic rolling chairs gave the airport terminal some Atlantic City flair.
