USCG Boating Safety Class Schedule

All operators of powered vessels and personal watercraft on N.J. waters, regardless of age, are required to possess a boat safety certificate. Brigantine Flotilla 85 of the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will conduct five “About Boating Safely” classes this year, scheduled for Saturday, April 12; Saturday, May 10; Saturday, June 14; Saturday, July 12; and Saturday, Aug. 9.

All classes start at 8:30 a.m. and will be held at the Brigantine Beach Community Center, located at 265 42nd St. Each class lasts eight hours; a lunch will be provided.

Upon passing the test at the end of the class, a certificate will be issued. A $60 prepaid registration is required. Class size is limited, so early registration is advised. Register by leaving a message at 609-926-7607 or email boatsafely@comcast.net. For class information, visitwww.uscgaux-brigantine-nj.org.
