On Saturday, Aug 20, over 250 kids enjoyed educational booths on fishing, casting, knot tying and drug awareness. Hurricane Irene may have forced the Brigantine Elks to rescheduled its annual Bayfest, but mother nature provided spectacular weather, and the annual event was better than ever. Brigantine Museum & History
The Brigantine Beach Historical Society was formed to preserve the Island’s past. Exhibits include a large collection of photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries as well as many artifacts from days gone by. Open from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day weekend in October. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
