Borgata Atlantic City Plans To Re-Open on July 26

Most of AC’s shuttered casinos reopened by 4th of July weekend. All except market leader Borgata, who felt that re-opening without indoor dining and drinks would hurt their brand.

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will reopen to the general public on July 26. At this time, Borgata’s Water Club will not reopen.

Atlantic City’s casinos endured a 4-month long shut down due to the current public health & safety challenge. Casinos were shuttered on March 16.

Borgata Atlantic City is part of MGM Resorts International.

Once reopened, Borgata will offer outdoor dining experiences and convenient takeout from some of their dining attractions.

Due to state mandate, Borgata will not allow smoking, eating or drinking on the casino floor.

“Following Governor’s directive to postpone indoor dining, we took a step back to reassess our reopening date.

Melonie Johnson, Borgata’s President and COO
