Thanksgiving Dinner at Brigantine Community Center

Mike Feely reported in the Beachcomber, that Thanksgiving dinner preparations are in high gear at the Brigantine Beach Community Center. Local residents are helping local residents, especially those affected by Sandy.

Originally planned for 100 people, but now is anticipated to feed more than 200. Over 40 volunteers have signed up to set up, cook, serve and clean. Food has been donated by local families and businesses.

Dinner is from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22.

This community event is free for island residents, but donations are being requested for the True Spirit Coalition. Call (609) 264-7350 for more information and to make reservations.
