The newly-appointed Brigantine City Manager (Tiger Platt) has a salary of $150,000. That’s $50,000 more than his immediate predecessor, Jim Bennett.
Listed payroll is $9.8 million. City Manager Tiger Platt’s 2023 budget report shows total salary and wages of $13.5 million.
Total city budget of Brigantine is up by $773,000. Higher Brigantine taxes will need to follow.
Local purpose tax increased 3.7 cents. 2023 rate is 68.3 cents per $100 of assessed value.
Brigantine’s 3-part property tax bill includes county and school taxes. NOTE: These figures don’t include the separate water and sewer budget.
