Post Sandy Planning Assistance Grant Program

A public information meeting, hosted by the Atlantic County Office of Policy and Planning, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 6 PM at the Brigantine Community Center, 265 42nd Street, Brigantine.

“We are interested in hearing the experiences, concerns and suggestions of residents, businesses, emergency responders and anyone who was affected by Superstorm Sandy,” Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson said.

The report is being funded as part of the state’s $5 million Post Sandy Planning Assistance Grant Program available to Atlantic County and eight other counties most severely impacted by Sandy. It aims to support long range planning for community redevelopment and increase community resilience. The report is expected to be completed before the end of this year.
