Team Brigantine: Police Bicycle Poker Run

Team Brigantine of the Police Unity Tour will hold its inaugural Bicycle Poker Run this Saturday, April 6, rain or shine. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. at the 16th Street Municipal lot and wheels up is at 3:30 p.m.

The cost is $35, which includes the ride and a ticket to the third annual Team Brigantine Benefit for the Ride to Washington, D.C. at 6:30 p.m. at the Laguna Rum Bar. Benefit-only tickets are $25. The run starts at 16th Street and Ocean Avenue and loops through Brigantine with stops along the way. The run ends at the Laguna Rum Bar. The best poker hand wins the grand prize.

The after-ride party includes food, drink and entertainment provided by DJ Ralph and the Triple X Band. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction. T-shirts will be available.

This is Team Brigantine’s primary fundraiser to raise money for the Police Unity Tour and the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington D.C. The team will ride to Washington, D.C. in May to raise awareness for law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
