Think Brigantine is boring? Think again. This past Friday night, we grabbed a kick a** spinach salad at Mad Dog Morgans. Then, we high-tailed it over to House of Blues; Atlantic City, inside the Showboat Casino. Took all of three minutes to get there.
“The Darkness” was in town, and Brigantine Beach was representin’. Might just be the best rock n roll show we’ve ever witnessed. Not kidding. Click thru to see the cool picture slideshow….from the photos we took.
Watching a show at House of Blues is great. When a really special band is there…it makes the venue really pop. Seeing The Darkness reunion tour at HOB was perfect. Every song was a winner. No filler. The band was super tight, the crowd was pumped, and we were lucky to be in the front row.
We love the ability to either stand in front of the stage, hang by the bars, or sit up in the balcony. Sound, lighting and atmosphere make for a really cool concert experience.
Was good to see David Pena from “Boogie Nights” rockin’ out to the ‘The Darkness’. After the show, we both we grabbed a beverage at the Foundation Room, which is just down the hall from the House of Blues. Next stop: Tropicana Casino; home of “Boogie Nights“.
